I met Steve when I joined TAB Queensland in the early '90's (back when he sported a perm), and worked with him while he was CIO for Tatts. We worked together on many endeavours including bringing TasTote into the company (a fond memory). He was always professional, approachable and was happy to explain points of view that I lacked and was honest to say he didn't know. I last caught up with him in 2016 in London. Very sad to hear we have lost a true gentleman, especially so early. Ruth and I send condolences to Lorraine and the girls.
